Authenticity

Being your true self is so important. The differences between us should be accepted and celebrated, as this is what makes us each unique and amazing individual.

Being able to show acceptance and admiration to others for their abilities, qualities, wishes, beliefs, and achievements.

About Ashley

I have always found joy in helping others. Early on, I was able to start making a positive impact on others' lives. Around 12 years old, my parents started an Adult Family Home, in our house. I grew up helping physically and cognitively disabled individuals. During my time as an undergraduate, I volunteered for a foster care program, doing supervised visitation. I continued in the direction of helping others and moved across the United States to Los Angeles. While in my master's program, I had the privilege to work with a nonprofit, helping women and children that were struggling from homelessness. This was my first experience as a therapist. I knew then that helping others was what I was meant to do with my life.

My career as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist has taken me on a journey to impact many lives. During my time as a therapist, I have worked with clients struggling with many different types of struggles, such as general mental health (anxiety, depression, ADHD, ect.), human trafficking, sex offenders and more. Currently, I hold a license in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania and I am Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I continue to practice, in managed care, as a Behavioral Care Therapist and have over 13 years of experience in the field.
